Milinković-Savić, Zaccagni, Luis Alberto, and Felipe Anderson made Milan live a nightmare at the Stadio Olimpico, as the Rossoneri difficult moment continues.

First half

Lazio hit the ground running as Milinković-Savić scored in the 4th minute. Zaccagni sent in a good, low cross, which the midfielder converted into a goal.

Milan struggled to create occasions, probably feeling the tough hit caused by the early goal scored by Lazio. The problems for the Rossoneri did not stop, as Tomori had to leave the field due to an injury, replaced by Kjær.

Lazio had another opportunity in minute 35, with Pedro trying to assist Felipe Anderson inside the box. The Brazilian was anticipated by Dest. However, just two minutes later, Lazio scored the second goal. Marusic cut behind Dest, shot, and hit the post, but Zaccagni was ready and scored on the rebound.

Zaccagni had the chance to score his second goal of the night, but his shot was deflected by Kjær.

Second half

Milan had the first occasion in the second half with Bennacer. His free kick was deflected and finished just outside the right post.

Milan went close to scoring with Dest’s cross for Leao, who was anticipated right on the line by Hysaj.

Lazio exploited a mistake by the Rossoneri while they were trying to build up from the back and gained a penalty in the 64th minute. Luis Alberto shot the penalty and made it 3-0 for Lazio.

The nightmare for the Rossoneri continued as Lazio made it 4-0. This time it was Felipe Anderson who was left alone in the box and could easily send the ball in.

Milan kept trying to push forward, but it was too late to turn things around. Plus, Lazio easily controlled the result until the final whistle.
