Everton parts ways with Lampard

Everton announced on Monday that manager Frank Lampard has been fired.

Lampard became Everton’s manager on January 31, 2022. With him, Everton won 12 games, had 8 draws, and lost 24 matches. The Toffees avoided relegation in the Premier League last season as they had finished 16th in the standings, 3 points above the relegation zone.

This season, Everton is 19th with 15 points in the tally, 2 points away from Wolves in the 17th position.

Everton lost its latest Premier League match against West Ham 2-0 on Saturday.

On Monday, Everton confirmed that Lampard had left the team.
