Juventus and Atalanta did not determine a winner on Sunday’s Serie A match as the sides had scored three goals apiece.

Two days after having been handed a 15-point deduction, Juventus had another challenge on Sunday. They faced Atalanta at Allianz Stadium.

Atalanta had a perfect start to the match as Ademola Lookman put the visitors in the lead after his strike in the 5th minute. Jeremie Boga made an assist.

Jose Luis Palomino made a tackle on Arkadiusz Milik inside Atalanta’s penalty box. However, referee Livio Marinelli did not award a penalty.

The match was over for Palomino in the 15th minute because of an apparent injury. Merih Demiral substituted him.

After a difficult beginning of the match, Juventus tried to equalize. They had three shots on target by the 18th minute, but none ended up in a goal.

Juventus was awarded a penalty kick following the VAR review as Ederson’s had fouled on Nicolo Fagioli. Angel Di Maria converted the penalty kick into a goal and made the score 1-1.

Juventus took over the lead in the 35th minute. After Fagioli’s cross, the ball flew to Milik, and the Pole sent the ball into Juan Musso’s net with one touch. The first half ended with Juventus leading 2-1.

Atalanta scored at the start of a half again. This time it was Joakim Maehle who sent the ball into Wojciech Szczesny’s net. In the 53rd minute, Atalanta took the lead back after Lookman’s header.

Juventus came back to the game in the 65th minute. A free-kick combination resulted in Danilo’s shot from outside Atalanta’s penalty box which Musso could not save.

Atalanta captain Rafael Toloi had plenty of space and made a shot from outside Juventus’ penalty area in the 73rd minute. However, Szczesny made a save.

Demiral lost the ball after his heel pass attempt. Moise Kean picked up the ball and made a cross to Atalanta’s penalty box, but Fabio Miretti did not seize the opportunity to score.
