Liverpool and Chelsea have tied 0-0 in Premier League on Saturday.
Chelsea was quick to score in the 4th minute of the match – it was Kai Havertz, who followed up on a shot from Silva against the post. However, after a VAR review, the goal was ruled to be offside.
Liverpool had their first and only shot on target in the 39th minute of the match, by Thiago. The first half ended without any goal from both teams, despite several attempts.
The second half saw the first minutes of Mykhailo Mudryk with Chelsea, who substituted Lewis Hall in the 55th minute. The Ukrainian had a close chance ten minutes later when he made a shot at Liverpool’s net but sent the ball into the side netting.
Both teams, however, failed to score. The match ended in a tie after 5 minutes of added time. It was, perhaps, a disappointing game for both sides, with plenty of suffering and failed attempts.
