Manchester United has won against Manchester City in the Premier League, an unexpected result following City’s early lead in the second half of the match.
The first goal was scored by City’s Jack Grealish in the 60th minute following a goalless first half – he was assisted by De Bruyne.
However, as glory seemed secured for the Citizens, United managed to tie the game in the 78th minute with the help of Bruno Fernandes, who was assisted by Casemiro. The linesman raised the flag for offside, by a VAR check validated the goal.
The Red Devils had re-gained their hope and rightfully so, as midfielder Marcus Rashford scored the second goal against City, awarding his team the lead of the game in the 82nd minute.
In the end, despite commendable efforts to equal the match up, Manchester City took the loss against Manchester United.
