The Chelsea Football Club has announced that their defender, Reece James, will be ruled out of play for up to a month following assessment after yesterday’s match against AFC Bournemouth.
James suffered a knee injury. He was substituted during last night’s Premier League match, in which his team won 2-0 against Bournemouth.
After being checked earlier on Wednesday, Chelsea confirmed in a statement that James is not fit to play for up to a month.
“Defender Reece James underwent assessment earlier today after being substituted during the second half of last night’s 2-0 Premier League victory over AFC Bournemouth due to a knee injury,” the statement read.
“Scan results have regrettably confirmed a setback for the 23-year-old, with Reece now set to be ruled out for up to a month.”
