Cristiano Ronaldo will join Saudi Arabia’s club Al Nassr, according to Marca.
After Ronaldo’s contract with Manchester United was terminated, Al Nassr was believed to be the favorite to sign the Portuguese player.
Marca reported earlier on Thursday that Ronaldo will join Al Nassr. The 37-year-old took some time to consider the move, but in the end, decided to sign the contract with the Saudi Arabian team.
The deal will be signed until 2030. Ronaldo will play for the team for 2.5 years and then will become an ambassador of Saudi Arabia’s, Egypt’s, and Greece’s joint 2030 World Cup hosting bid.
Though there is currently no official information regarding Ronaldo’s move to Al Nassr, the announcement is expected to be made in the near future.
