4′: João Félix went close to scoring right away with a header. However, Bounou saved it.
30′: Félix’s shot from outside the box was deflected, almost helping Portugal to score. The ball went close to the post but went outside.
34′: Morocco built an excellent action, with Amallah shooting from a distance. His shot was high over the crossbar.
42′ ⚽: Morocco scored after dominating in the last few minutes. Youssef En-Nesyri’s header anticipated both the defender and the goalkeeper, exploiting a great cross by Attiyat Allah from the left.
44′: Portugal responded immediately. Bruno Fernandes hit the crossbar from a difficult position, but was unlucky and could not score.
47′: The counterattack for Morocco almost allowed them to put two goals between them and Portugal, but Attiyat Allah’s shot was wide.
49′: Morocco was close to scoring again. After a free kick by Ziyech, El Yamiq could not send the ball in with the header.
57′: A great cross by Otávio found Gonçalo Ramos in the middle of the box. The Portuguese sticker missed the target, though.
63′: Bruno Fernandes shot from outside the distance. A powerful shot that went just over the crossbar.
82′: Huge occasion for Portugal. Cristiano Ronaldo passed the ball to João Félix, who made a great shot, which was incredibly saved by Morocco’s goalkeeper.
90′: Ronaldo received a long, low ball and shot. Morocco’s goalkeeper made yet another great save to keep the advantage.
95′: Morocco could make it 2-0. Zakaria Aboukhlal was alone in front of Portugal’s goalkeeper, but his shot was saved.
96′: Pepe missed the target with a header. Portugal could not tie the game and was eliminated.
