Switzerland and Cameroon did not manage to score in the first half of the game.

It was a locked match up until the 10-minute mark, when Cameroon surprised the Swiss defensive line with a long ball and sent two of its attackers ahead of Yann Sommer. However, both strikers were not able to score.

A few minutes later, both Switzerland and Cameroon had a great occasion each. Both were stopped by the referee due to offside.

Cameroon’s formation was performing better than Switzerland, creating many occasions but still struggling to score.
