Haas team principal Guenther Steiner revealed the team’s final lineup for the 2023 season will be revealed ahead of the season final with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

While Kevin Magnussen is already confirmed for next season, the team’s second driver is still a mystery, as Mick Schumacher is expected to be released from the team after two seasons.

The strongest rumor among the Formula 1 community is that Nico Hulkenberg, whose last season was in 2019, will come back to the sport as a full-time driver with the American-based squad.

Speaking at Interlagos during the Brazilian Grand Prix, Steiner said that the team is “just sorting out details [about] how we’re going to do what we’re going to do.

“Expect the announcement some time next week,” he revealed. “I’m not going to tell you the day, because then everybody will be waiting for that day – but it will be coming next week.”
