Pierre Gasly stated that he aims at finishing in the top 10 at least twice in the final three races with AlphaTauri.
Gasly will leave AlphaTauri at the conclusion of the 2022 F1 season as the Frenchman is making a switch to Alpine. He is currently 14th in the Drivers’ Championship with 23 points scored.
When asked what ending to the AlphaTauri stint he would consider successful, Gasly replied: “What I will define a ‘high’ is, this year, points. You’ve got to be objective and quite honest with the situation, based on the number of points we’ve scored.
“For sure, it’s not tomorrow that we’re going to be fighting for the top 5 suddenly. Hopefully, we can fight for the points until the end of the year. We have three more races and if we can get points at least on two of these occasions, that will be great.”
