Charles Leclerc has topped the second practice session of the Dutch Grand Prix with Carlos Sainz and Lewis Hamilton behind him.
The session start was delayed by 15 minutes following red flag complications in Formula 2 qualifying.
Max Verstappen led the session through the opening stages but was brought down by both Ferrari machines, with Carlos Sainz at the top and Charles Leclerc behind him.
Meanwhile, Mercedes showed promising performance at the back as George Russell sat fourth behind Verstappen, while Lewis Hamilton was a bit further down in P7, though he later climbed up to the second place. However, with this only the second practice session, all performances should be taken with a grain of salt.
Alexander Albon seemed to once again have a promising rhythm but then dropped back later in the session as times from top teams improved. His teammate, Nicholas Latifi, was last behind Kevin Magnussen, whose teammate Mick Schumacher placed 13th.
The session saw a red flag with 12 minutes to go as Yuki Tsunoda lost control going out of the track and getting stuck in the gravel. Once his car was rescued, practice resumed with 4 minutes left.
In the end, it was Charles Leclerc who topped the session with a time of 1:12.345, with Carlos Sainz and Lewis Hamilton behind him.
