Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner insists that there is “a long way to go” in the championship.
Red Bull entered the summer break with a 97-point advantage over Ferrari in the Constructors’ Championship. Furthermore, Max Verstappen is 80 points ahead of Charles Leclerc in the Drivers’ Championship.
Though Red Bull have a significant advantage, Horner believes that nothing is guaranteed for them.
“The points tables look healthy and it’s a great way to sign off [going] into the summer break but there’s still a lot of racing to go,” he said.
“Ferrari are quick and Mercedes are coming back into the game.
“There’s still a long, long way to go in this championship, plus a Sprint race, so we don’t take anything for granted.
“There’s still a lot of racing to do and at very different venues.”
