After the Formula 3 race, racing action at Silverstone continued with the Formula 2 Feature Race.
Logan Sargeant had a good getaway, which allowed him to stay in the race lead. Opposite to Sargeant, Frederik Vesti had a difficult start and dropped down to P6. Theo Pourchaire and Liam Lawson followed Sargeant.
Roy Nissany and Dennis Hauger came together after Stowe. The PREMA Racing driver went off the track, jumped off the curb, and hit the DAMS driver. Both drivers left their cars by themselves. The Safety Car was deployed.
Sargeant remained in the lead at the restart. Meanwhile, David Beckmann was given a 10-second stop-and-go penalty for the starting procedure infringement.
After 9 laps of racing, drivers began the cycle of mandatory pit stops. Ayumu Iwasa, who was 4th, had a slow pit stop because of problems with the left rear tire and lost several positions. Vesti managed to get ahead of Felipe Drugovich during the sequence. However, Alleged infringements during pit stops of both ART GP drivers would be investigated by the stewards after the race.
Juri Vips, who was on alternative strategy, took over the lead after the driver on soft tires pitted. Jehan Daruvala and Jack Doohan were behind him.
Vips went to the pits to get soft tires after 22 laps, while Daruvala did the same a lap later. Both had issues during pit stops, but Daruvala rejoined the track ahead of Vips. However, the Estonian driver made a pass shortly after.
Sargeant got to the lead again after last drivers on hard tires, Doohan and Jack Hughes, pitted. Pourchaire was less than a second behind. Behind them, Vesti was trying to pass Liam Lawson for P3, but was overtaken by Drugovich on the last lap.
Sargeant increased the advantage over Pourchaire to and got his maiden F2 victory. Pourchaire crossed the finish line in the second place, while Lawson completed the podium
