Sergio Perez has revealed he’s undergoing therapy due to his crash at the Canadian Grand Prix.

The Mexican driver had crashed out of qualifying for the race in Canada last Saturday and reported no injuries through the rest of the weekend.

However, Perez has now revealed he is undergoing neck therapy after suffering a contracture due to his incident.

“I had a bad strain after the crash, which I didn’t feel,” he told FOX Sports Latin America. “I had a lot of pain but overall I’m fine, everything is good.

“It’s always difficult to start the week after such a bad day,” he added.

Perez is optimistic about his recovery and does not believe it will affect his performance at the upcoming British Grand Prix.
