Fernando Alonso has topped the charts in the final practice session for the Canadian GP, with Gasly and Vettel following him behind.

The third and final practice session for the Canadian Grand Prix went underway in rainy conditions with the full wet compound tires. The first drivers to go out struggled around the track and set insignificant lap times.

The first driver to set a lap time under the 1:40s was Kevin Magnussen, with a time of 1:39.148s, followed by Yuki Tsunoda a few tenths behind him.

Carlos Sainz was the first driver from the top teams to set a lap time after some failed attempts early on. The Spanish driver placed a first with a 1:35.858s after 6 laps. Fernando Alonso closely followed him.

Through the ending stages of the session, we saw Alonso top the charts with Sainz and Magnussen behind him. The Red Bulls and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc were yet to set a lap time.

In the end, it was Fernando Alonso who topped the session with Pierre Gasly in second and Sebastian Vettel in third.
