Juri Vips will participate in the opening practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix with Red Bull Racing.
Red Bull have given Vips the opportunity to drive the RB18 car in order to follow the rule which mandates the teams to give rookies practice time during Grand Prix weekends. The Estonian driver will replace Sergio Perez in the Spanish GP FP1.
Vips is currently competing in Formula 2 with Hitech GP. He has taken 1 pole position, 2 podiums, and is 8th in the standings with 30 points scored.
Vips has joined Nyck de Vries in the list of rookie drivers that will participate in the Spanish GP FP1.
