Sergio Perez was not satisfied with his performance in the final part of the Miami Grand Prix qualifying.
Perez will start Sunday’s race at the Miami International Autodrome 4th, alongside his teammate Max Verstappen. The Mexican reflected on his performance and stated that his first Q3 attempt affected the result.
“My Q3 run one was a disaster,” he said.
“I just had the tires too cold, and that put me off going into my final lap.
“[A] couple of hundredths would have put me P2, which was possible.
“But certainly, I think Charles [Leclerc] did a very strong lap.”
