Lewis Hamilton has said his title hopes are over after his horrible weekend at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

The Mercedes driver continues to struggle and has finished this weekend’s race outside of the point. Speaking about it to the media, Hamilton said there was little he could do through the race, and admitted ‘there’s no question’ his title hopes are over.

“I really don’t know, to be honest. I don’t think it would have made much of a difference,” he said of the DRS.

“It’s a weekend to forget, that’s for sure.

“I mean, I’m out of the championship, there’s no question about that. I’ll still keep working as hard as I can and try to somehow put it back together.”
