George Russell has topped the standings of the second free practice of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
The drivers had an hour of practice at Imola before Sprint later on Saturday.
FP2 was the first opportunity to drive around the dry race track this weekend. At the same time, it was not possible to make set-up changes because of the parc ferme regulations.
Daniel Ricciardo was unable to leave his garage due to a suspected power unit issue. Valtteri Bottas’ car was disassembled and he missed the session as well. Later on, Lando Norris suffered a brake system issue after just 3 laps completed.
The drivers were preparing for Sprint, so Medium and Soft tire compounds were a popular choice.
George Russell was the fastest driver of the session. Sergio Perez was second, while Charles Leclerc had the third quickest lap time.
