Charles Leclerc admits that he is not satisfied with his performance in Q3 on Friday.

Leclerc was in contention for P1 in qualifying, but ended up 2nd fastest, 0.779 seconds behind Max Verstappen. The Ferrari driver reflected on how qualifying went.

“It was very tricky, especially on the slicks. There were a lot of wet patches,” Leclerc said.

“So it was all about putting the laps in and waiting for Q3 to put everything together. But again, this is why it’s even more frustrating for me, because when it counts in Q3, I did the wrong choice.

“But it’s life, we’ll learn from it. And at the end, P2 is not a disaster. Everything to play for tomorrow and after tomorrow and we’ll give everything.”
