Charles Leclerc was robbed of a watch in Italy this Monday, according to local press.
Leclerc and his friends were visiting the city of Viareggio ahead of the Emilia Romagna GP. At approximately 10 p.m. on Monday, when the Ferrari driver was met by fans in the Via Salvatori area, a thief stole his watch and ran away from the crime scene. The Monegasque was not hurt.
After that, Leclerc made a report to the police, who began investigating the matter.
His trainer Andrea Ferrari, who was there at that moment, made a social media post, in which he complained about the lack of lighting in that area.
“Via Salvatori has been completely in the dark for months. We have been reporting this for months.
“Well, yesterday evening in Via Salvatori, they have robbed us. Think of arranging the lamps sooner or later? Asking for a friend.”
