Pierre Gasly states that he “will take those two points” after difficulties during the Australian Grand Prix.

Gasly’s race was affected by the Safety Car that was brought out after Sebastian Vettel’s crash. The Frenchman had his pit stop moments before the crash and dropped down to 14th place.

Gasly had work to do to get to the top 10. In the end, he made it happen as he crossed the finish line 9th. The Frenchman shared his thoughts about the race.

“I’ll take those two points today!” he said.

“It’s been quite an unfortunate race for me. I managed to pass two cars at the start, but then I got unlucky pitting right before the Safety Car and dropped to P14.

“I was pretty mad at the time, but I stayed focused and managed to come back through to P9.”
