Max Verstappen admits that he is not feeling confident behind the wheel this weekend in Melbourne.
Verstappen would start Sunday’s Australian GP 2nd, behind Charles Leclerc. However, the Dutchman has revealed that it was not an easy weekend for him as of now.
“I didn’t really feel good in the car the whole weekend so far. I think there’s not been one lap where I actually felt confident. So, a bit of a struggle. Second [place] is still a good result, but [I’m] just not feeling that great to go the limit. We’ll try to analyze it,” he said.
“Probably in the race pace everything stabilizes a bit, but for me this weekend so far has been all over the place. Of course, [I’m] happy to be second, but I think also as a team we want more.”
