Aston Martin has announced that Sebastian Vettel tested negative for COVID-19 and will take part at the Australian GP.

Vettel was forced to miss the first two races of the 2022 season after having tested positive for COVID-19. With just over a week left before the Australian GP, the German is allowed to come back to the paddock.

“We are pleased to confirm that Sebastian Vettel is now fit to race and will therefore line up alongside Lance Stroll in Melbourne to kick off his 2022 F1 season at the Australian Grand Prix,” the team statement read.
