Haas have provided an update on Mick Schumacher’s condition after his crash in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix qualifying.

The qualifying in Jeddah was stopped after Schumacher’s big shunt in Q2. Both the Medical Car and an ambulance came to the track, which raised concerns.

At first Haas announced that Schumacher was “conscious, out of the car and currently on his way to the medical center.”

Later on, the team made another update regarding Schumacher’s condition.

“[We] can confirm Mick appears physically fine – he has spoken to his mom [Corinna],” the Haas spokesperson said.

“[Mick is] likely being taken to hospital [via airlift] for a scan as a precaution but [we’re] awaiting an FIA update on that.”
