Carlos Sainz anticipates “an exciting race” at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Sunday.

Sainz was on a provisional pole for a second week in a row, but ended the Saudi Arabian GP qualifying 3rd, 0.202 seconds away from the polesitter Sergio Perez. The Ferrari driver reflected on his performance and made his prediction for the race.

“The lap for P3 was really good. It was in a used tire, which is giving me a better feeling. The new tire is very difficult to handle, I struggled with grip. For a used tire it wasn’t that bad,” Sainz said.

“Tomorrow it’s gonna be exciting, all the cars mixed up. It should be an exciting race.”
