The Haas F1 team will be allowed to recover its lost testing time after the end of the official pre-season testing sessions in Bahrain.

The team’s plane carrying its equipment suffered technical issues, incurring a delay in the team’s schedule for the week.

Now, it has been revealed that the Americans will be allowed to recover their lost time after the end of the official sessions.

“We were denied the testing on Sunday,” Guenther Steiner said.

“We need to make up now every day, we can make up four hours of testing. But we need to make it up at the end of the day, we’re not allowed to run on Sunday.”

“We are unlucky. Look at our last two years, I mean, there was not a lot of luck in there.”

“It was just the wrong plane at the wrong time. The plane had some technical issues and was stuck in Turkey. It never made it to the UK and that was it.”
