Take a look at the final results of the 2022 Dakar Rally as the competitors crossed the finish line of the last special stage.

Francisco Moreno claimed the win of the final stage of the 2022 Dakar Rally. However, his victory was overshadowed by Alexandre Giroud’s success in the overall standings.

Moreno held his ground throughout the short special stage. He managed to keep his rivals at bay until he reached the finish line, prevailing with almost a 3-minute edge over Kamil Wisniewski. Marcelo Medeiros, the winner of stage 11, found himself on the final spot on the podium. He trailed 5 minutes away from Wisniewski.

Meanwhile, Giroud cruised to the finish in P5, 20 minutes off the lead. But this was enough for the French rider to claim his Dakar Rally title. He beat Moreno in the final overall rankings by over 2 hours, displaying his consistency throughout this grueling event.
