The second week of the 2022 Dakar Rally will kick things off with Stage 7, a 701-kilometers route from Riyadh to Al Dawadimi, that consists mostly of special routing.

The first week of the rally finished on Friday with stage 6, a route which once again saw trouble during the course of the day, with the organizers needing to neutralize the course for the bikes and quads.

Stage 7 will begin on Sunday morning, consisting of 402 kilometers of special route through dunes with, according to the organizers, “never-ending ergs,” making it difficult for competitors to orientate with the navigation.

However, after about 100 kilometers of sand, the course will get easier in terms of driving and navigation through the dirt tracks – but it doesn’t mean it’s time to sit back; the Dakar is always pushing its participants to the limits.
