Helmut Marko has confirmed that Red Bull are going to extend the contract with Christian Horner.
Horner is one of the most important figures in the paddock these days. He has been the Red Bull Racing team principal since 2005 and was a vital part of their success. Red Bull won 4 Constructors’ and 5 Drivers’ Championships with Horner. After Max Verstappen’s success this year, Marko has revealed that Red Bull want to continue the cooperation with Horner.
“We are working on a new contract that will link him [Horner] to Red Bull until 2026,” he told ServusTV.
Marko has also admitted that Red Bull do not want big changes inside the team.
“We are going for stability in the key positions within the team for the transitional year in which the new engine formula and the new chassis rules will go into effect.”
