The Yas Marina Circuit has been altered after Pirelli expressed concerns over various curbs on the circuit.

Following free practice sessions on Friday, Pirelli alerted that some curbs could lead to tire issues similar to the damaging curbs in Qatar, which resulted in punctures for some cars.

The teams were also concerned about the possibility of chassis damage, which Nikita Mazepin was the first to experience during Friday practice in Qatar.

The curbs at the exit of turns 5 and 9 proved to be the most worrying for Pirelli. However, there have now been changes to these corners after drivers, teams and the tire manufacturer reported back following practice. The curbs have now become more rounded to combat the potential issues.
