Red Bull has denied Helmut Marko’s comments which stated the team would be appealing the penalty Mercedes was given from the FIA.

The Stewards decided not to penalize Lewis Hamilton for allegedly failing to slow down under yellow flags during the final practice for the Saudi Arabian GP.

“We have appealed against this decision,” Marko told to Austrian media.

“In Qatar, Max gets a five-place grid penalty. Here, suddenly a yellow is no longer a yellow,” he concluded.

Later, Red Bull confirmed they would not be appealing the decision, going against Marko’s comments.
