Max Verstappen said Red Bull is struggling more than normal as he qualified second for the Qatar Grand Prix, while his teammate Sergio Perez got knocked out in Q2.

  • Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton claimed Pole position for tomorrow’s race, with an advantage of 0.4s to Verstappen.
  • The Red Bull driver said they’re lacking pace and that anything can happen during the race.

What he said:

  • “Just lacking a bit of pace. It’s been just a bit more tricky for us again in qualifying.”
  • “You could’ve already clearly seen that, Checo’s not even in Q3, so it just shows that we are definitely struggling a bit more than normal. But nevertheless, still second, so it’s all to play for. I wish we could’ve fought for more.”
