Valtteri Bottas looks to find answers to the lack of pace after finishing third at the Qatar Grand Prix qualifying.
Details:
- Bottas led FP2 and FP3, but did not manage to convert it into pole position, being 0.651 seconds away from the polesitter Lewis Hamilton.
- The Finn admits that he failed to work well with tires in qualifying.
What he had to say:
- “It’s been a good weekend so far until the qualifying for me. I don’t know what really happened overnight. I could feel that in FP3 for sure the wind was different than yesterday. I was still fastest, but I had to push a lot, so I really couldn’t find much more.”
- “In quali I struggled quite a bit, especially in turn 1, struggled to get the tires ready, unlike the yesterday evening, so I need to have a look, but obviously, I tried my best, but a little bit confused what happened with the car overnight.”
