Lewis Hamilton is not pleased with his performance on Friday’s practice sessions at the Qatar Grand Prix.

  • The Mercedes driver admitted being “a little bit slow” throughout the day.
  • Hamilton said he needs to find out what the issues are, stating he’s “definitely not close.”

What he said:

  • “I don’t even know how big the gap is. But I’m off, so I’m definitely not close.”
  • “Driving-wise, it’s OK, it’s all high-speed corners so it’s definitely physical, but then the track’s quite nice.”
  • “No real issues and yeah, there’s a little bit of damage just from riding curbs, but nothing too serious hopefully.”
  • “I’m a little bit slow. So I need to figure that out.”
