Valtteri Bottas has reflected on the opening day of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix after finishing 3rd in qualifying.
Details:
- Bottas admits that he has had struggles throughout the day in sector 1.
- The Finn is optimistic about his chances in Saturday’s Sprint Qualifying.
What he had to say:
- “It was a bit tricky, practice 1 and [I] didn’t quite feel comfortable, especially in the first sector and it got a bit better in the qualifying, but still the main places I was losing to Lewis [Hamilton] were turns 1-2 and a bit on the straight, so [I’m] not fully satisfied.”
- “[P3 is] still good starting place and [there is] all to play for and hopefully, it will be lap 1 full of action, so let’s see.”
