Formula 1 revealed higher profits for the third quarter of 2021 as the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic starts to ease.

  • The Championship reported a revenue of US$668 million, a 12% increase compared to the $597 million from last year.
  • A $104 million loss last year now translates into a $80 million profit after paying $338 million to the teams.
  • The increase in income comes from race promotion fees and the higher attendance compared to that of 2020.
