The FIA will be monitoring 6 track-limits zones at the Mexican Grand Prix.
- The track limits monitoring zones have caused controversy through the 2021 F1 season, especially in Bahrain where Max Verstappen lost the victory because of them.
- The FIA will be monitoring 6 track-limits zones during this weekend’s Mexican Grand Prix at turns 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 and 11.
Complying with the limits:
- Drivers who go beyond the limits imposed by the FIA will have their lap times automatically deleted.
- Those who infringe track limits during the race will receive a 5-second time penalty should they do so multiple times.
