Red Bull’s Sergio Pérez claims the United States Grand Prix to be physically his ‘thoughest race’ as he had issues with his drinking system during the race.

  • The Mexican driver finished third in a race in which he didn’t have water supply as his drinking system broke down through the race.

What he said:

  • “Since the first lap I had no water, I couldn’t drink at all. I think towards the end of my second stint, it started to get quite difficult, losing my strength.”
  • “I think physically this was my toughest race ever.”
