Yuki Tsunoda has spoken about the goals that are currently set for him by AlphaTauri.

Why it matters: In his rookie season, Tsunoda has only scored 18 points so far and has faced a lot of difficulties throughout the year.

Details:

  • Tsunoda reveals that his confidence in the car is more important for AlphaTauri than his results at the moment.
  • The Japanese driver wants to help the team secure 5th place in the Constructors’ Championship.

What he had to say:

  • “For me, it’s more pressure but not team pressure to score points. For me, at this point, they want me to [be] more focused on my driving and also progressing through the race week.”
  • “Of course, for me, I want to help the team to be fifth in the Constructors’ Championship that we are aiming for. I think we have a good car and a good team with good mechanics so we have a good confidence that we can be fifth in the championship.”
