Williams’ George Russell has qualified in the top three once again for the upcoming Russian Grand Prix.

  • It’s the second time in four races the British driver manages to qualify inside the top three for a Grand Prix.
  • The Williams driver said they will risk it everything in the chase of a podium-finishing position.

What he had to say:

  • “It’s crazy. I mean it’s the second time in the top three in three or four events. The team have done an amazing job once again pitting at the right time and putting the right tires on. It was tricky out there.”
  • “I’m really looking forward to competing with those guys tomorrow. Our long-run pace yesterday was good. We’re still way behind McLaren and Ferrari and of course Mercedes, who will start behind us.”
  • “So we will have good speed on the straights, so we will just go for the podium again. We have nothing to lose.”
