Clément Novalak has lost his provisional pole position as transponder issues meant times weren’t measured correctly.

Why it matters: It means that the pole position and four points now belong to second-placed Jack Doohan.

  • The provisional results at the end of qualifying showed Novalak on pole, with a time of 1:54.648. Doohan was behind by a gap of only 0.03s.
  • The issue has now been fixed and Novalak is now in second place, with his teammate ahead with a new fastest time of 1:54.514.
