After crashing with Max Verstappen at Monza, Lewis Hamilton admits that he will visit a specialist to control his conditions before Sochi.
Why it matters: While fighting on track, Verstappen touched with Hamilton, and his RB16B jumped over the W12, hitting the upper part of the Halo.
- The rear wheel of Verstappen’s car partially hit Hamilton’s head, resulting in a very scary moment for the Briton.
- Due to the hit, Hamilton said that he wanted to do further checks to see if everything is fine with the head and the neck.
What he had to say:
- “I think the rear wheel landed on it, the Halo, and I think the most cambered part of the inside of the tire landed on my head.
- “I think I’m just going to be traveling these next few days, but I probably will need to get to see a specialist just to make sure I’m good for the next race because it’s getting tighter and tighter. But I’ll live.”
