Marko believes good start is key to win for Red Bull

Helmut Marko believes that after the Sprint Qualifying Red Bull has a chance to win the race.

Why it matters: Max Verstappen will start from pole position on Sunday, with Lewis Hamilton only fourth and Valtteri Bottas starting last on the grid.

  • Monza seemed a track that would favor Mercedes, but after the sprint qualifying everything changed and now Marko hopes to win on the Italian soil.
  • The Red Bull advisor stated that having a good start is going to be important if the team wants to bring home the win.

Yes, the Monza trauma is slowly going away. We would never have thought of pole, but what is even more encouraging is the speed in the race. As we saw with Hamilton and [Sergio] Perez, overtaking is virtually impossible. If the start is successful tomorrow, we can already start dreaming of victory.
