Nikita Mazepin admitted that the relationship with his teammate Mick Schumacher is fine, but he wants to beat him on track.
Why it matters: Mazepin and Schumacher had some close calls on track at Zandvoort. Nikita was disappointed with Schumacher during qualifying, while the German felt the same way toward Mazepin on Sunday.
- Mazepin said that Schumacher did not respect the team’s agreement on Saturday. On the other hand, Schumacher felt that Mazepin was too aggressive while defending during the race.
- Haas Team Principal Guenther Steiner said that the drivers will need to have a talk with him before Monza.
But for me, I really don’t care so much who I’m fighting with. I’m doing it respectfully, and I’m not going to give any more than I should.Nikita Mazepin
