Max Verstappen believes that qualifying results show the pecking order of the race weekend in Hungary.

The race weekend at Hungaroring has not been going well so far for Max Verstappen and Red Bull. The championship leader has qualified 3rd for Sunday’s race and is not surprised.

“I think the whole weekend so far we’ve been a bit behind and it showed again in qualifying,” the Dutchman said.

Obviously, Verstappen is not glad about his starting position, but he supposes that the team can do something to turn things around.

“Not what we want but nonetheless we’re still there in P3 and we’ll see what we can do. But yeah, so far not what I want,” he added.
