Francesco Guidotti has said that Pramac isn’t worried about not having any wins, despite having a rider second in the title.

Johann Zarco is in the midst of a brilliant zero-to-hero story, after leaving KTM in 2019 and looking to be out of MotoGP for good. Now, he is second in the world title, only 34 points behind Fabio Quartararo, having been consistently on the podium all season.

Guidotti has said the lack of wins for Pramac, who have finished second in 13 different races, doesn’t bother the team.

“The only black part for this first part of the season was the injury Jorge suffered in Portimao, which has made everything more difficult for his growth in this new category,” he said.

“But after coming back he already showed once again his potential and attitude and the racing approach he has deep inside. So we are confident he will grow in the second half of the season.”

“A win is always welcome. We’ve been very close but so far we’re really happy and satisfied with our job, our riders, and the Ducati support. If the first win will come, it’s welcome, but we sleep well at night.”

MotoGP makes a long-awaited return in Austria in a week and a half.
