After the Silverstone GP where Mercedes and Red Bull were very close to each other, Valtteri Bottas believes that the battle is going to be extremely close in Hungary too.

The Mercedes driver is confident that after Mercedes showed to have a good pace in Britain, the good momentum will be there in Hungary too. However, he acknowledged that Red Bull will surely be fast.

“I think this weekend is going to be close,” said Bottas. “We’ve seen in the recent races that no matter which tracks we are at, Red Bull is fast.

Bottas also added that the team kept working hard to arrive prepared in Hungary. Plus, he expects to do better than he did in the past and maybe he can enjoy a positive weekend.

“We’ve been working as hard as ever as a team and again, preparing for this event and trying to be better than in Silverstone and take all the learnings from previous years here.

“For myself, I expect a better performance than what I’ve done here before, and focus on our work. We need to focus on our work as a team and maybe pay less attention to anything that’s happening outside and [just] try and do our job. So anything is possible.”

I am an Italian guy. I love Motorsport because of the emotions that it gives me and I grew up watching races. That's what I love!
