After the two weekends in Austria, Sergio Perez admitted that he wants to score another podium in Silverstone, adding that the team worked a lot to perform well even with the new weekend format.

Perez added that the new format seems fun, and he cannot wait to try it. Plus, after failing to step on the podium both in Austria and Styria, he wants to achieve it in Silverstone.

“I feel good, and I am motivated for this weekend, I hope to get back on the podium. It will be interesting to see the new format. As a team, we have worked hard to understand this new system, we have prepared it well. It will be different and exciting for everyone, hopefully, the hard work will pay off.”

To conclude, Perez also admitted that despite Red Bull has been very competitive in the last races, it will not be so easy in Silverstone, considering that Mercedes will bring new upgrades. Therefore, he said that the team must do everything right and not commit mistakes.

“I think everything will be more even this weekend. Mercedes has already talked about improvements, and I am sure they will be very strong at Silverstone. We are going to try to stand up to them with everything we have, and we hope to be at the top again. We will have to see what happens.”

“I’ve learned from what happened in Austria, and I get some positives from the race. We need to keep pushing, and now it’s time to look towards this weekend. I’m looking forward to going back to Silverstone and seeing the fans back on the track. The atmosphere is electric, and we hope to have a good weekend,” said Sergio to close.
